Beyond the (unlocked) price and dual SIM capability — something which is popular in India and other parts of Asia — the Lumia 430 is what you’d expect from a budget Microsoft offering. The four-inch device comes with a two-megapixel camera, and specs that are identical to its Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 cousins. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon, with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of on-device storage. The latter is, of course, upgradable via a MicroSD card.
These days there’s more interest in the services bundled on these low-cost Lumias, and once again Microsoft is stuffing in a veritable range of things. Skype, 30 GB of OneDrive storage, and Office all come pre-loaded. The device will initially run Windows 8.1 (with the latest Denim update), but Microsoft confirmed that it will be eligible for the Windows 10 upgrade when it lands later this year.
