Last year, Google introduced a new requirement for attending their
annual I/O conference: a bit of luck. To account for massive demand on
tickets, attendees must be selected at random in a lottery just to get
the chance to buy a ticket.
Love it or hate it, that system is back this year.
Google has just announced the first details for Google I/0 2015:
No word yet on ticket pricing this year; last year’s ticket was $900.

Google has just announced the first details for Google I/0 2015:
- The conference itself will run from May 28-29. As always, it’ll take place at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco.
- Registration for tickets will open on March 17th at 9:00 a.m. PDT and run for two days. There’s no rush to get in early, though, because…
- Google will pick the people who will “receive the opportunity to purchase one ticket” at random.
